What we collect
When you fill in the contact form or email us, we receive your name, address, town, postcode, phone number, email and the message you sent. If you WhatsApp us, we also receive your WhatsApp number and any messages, photos or voice notes you send.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, quote your project and, if we end up working together, stay in touch about the work. That is it. We do not sell data. We do not use it for marketing lists.
Where it lives
Form submissions are delivered through an email delivery service, which handles the email transport, and then land in our company inbox. WhatsApp messages live in WhatsApp. Written correspondence sits in our email system.
How long we keep it
We keep a record of enquiries, chats and our dealings with you. If you would like your own record deleted, contact us at hello@bluebucket.co.uk and we will do it. If we work together on a project, we keep project files and correspondence for the duration of the engagement plus seven years, in line with UK record-keeping norms.
Website statistics
We count visits to this site, for statistics only, using our own counting tool. It sets no cookies and does not store your IP address. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, any campaign label in the link you used, your country (approximate) and whether the visitor looks like a person or a robot. To count unique visitors it uses an identifier. We do not share this data with anyone except our hosting provider, which stores it on our behalf. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If you click 'Don't count my visits' in the footer, we remember your choice in this browser with one small local-storage flag called na_ignore; our counter stores nothing else in your browser. You can object at any time using the link in the footer, or contact us at hello@bluebucket.co.uk. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our site.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bluebucket.co.uk and we will respond within a working week.
